The Great Gateless Gate is the gate through which one must pass to attain the face of God--and to become one with that face. If you want to pass through that gate, you have to conquer your mind. The practice is to attain total inner silence and forgo the identity that sustains duality. At every moment, the gate is open, but when you pass through the gate, you and the gate both become "gone".
